Final Girl Theory

I found this the most interesting theory because I never realised or noticed how frequently it happens until we learnt about it in lesson. The final girl is oftenly given a lot of camera time and is commonly virginal and very interested in her studies in comparison to her friends who induldge in drugs and sex. Unisex names such as Sydney from Scream are often giveaways of who the sole survivor from the film will be. After learning about this I then realised how obvious it is in nearly every horror movie and this is the theory that interested me the most.
